Project Overview
We are working with a leading retail organisation in Germany seeking an experienced SAP MM Consultant to support ongoing SAP initiatives, including enhancements and S/4HANA-related workstreams.
This is a hands-on, business-facing role within a fast-paced environment, requiring strong functional expertise in Materials Management and procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Configure and support SAP MM solutions across procurement and inventory management
* Own and optimise Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes
* Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and define requirements
* Deliver system enhancements and process improvements
* Support S/4HANA-related activities (implementation, rollout, or optimisation)
* Troubleshoot issues and provide functional support
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SAP SD, FI, supply chain)
Key Requirements
* Extensive experience as an SAP MM Consultant in freelance/contract environments
* Strong hands-on configuration experience in SAP MM
* Deep understanding of:
* Procurement / purchasing
* Inventory management
* P2P processes
* Experience working on SAP S/4HANA programmes
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to work independently in a client-facing role
