Job Description The R&D Data Science Team at our Hanover-Stöcken location is responsible for data-based support of research and development in the field of tires. To achieve this, we utilize a mix of self-service business intelligence solutions and modern machine learning techniques to provide our tire developers with advanced tools for the tires of the future. Within this exciting work environment at our location in Hanover-Stöcken, we are offering a master thesis position (incl. internship) starting May 2026. For the best learning experience possible, the internship should require a duration of about 3 months. Your tasks: Develop effective strategies for presenting multiple, potentially conflicting predictions to tire developers Define and evaluate combined performance metrics and optimization strategies that synthesize outputs from diverse models Establish clear guidelines or decision rules to enable tire developers to interpret model results and select the best concepts based on the focus of development
