Our Infrastructure, Semantics & APIs team focuses on applied research to create a robust and scalable data architecture for modern vehicles, spanning both the cloud and customer devices. You will explore areas such as semantic data modeling, data synchronization, hardware abstraction, data stream management, processing, and reasoning to create value for the company and our customers by leveraging promising technologies. Additionally, our data architecture serves as a foundation for future and novel AI applications that enable advanced data analytics, prediction, and autonomous decision-making inside and outside the vehicle.
What awaits you?
1. You develop, test, and implement software or system-related components to shape vehicle architectural decisions around data and AI infrastructure.
2. Here, you conduct investigations and research on the current state-of-the-art to keep the vehicle architecture up to date.
3. You propose novel ideas to extend the state-of-the-art in data aggregation and synchronization inside and outside vehicles.
4. Additionally, you socialize and communicate advances with both technical and non-technical audiences to foster collaboration and understanding.
5. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data aggregation and synchronization systems into the overall end-to-end data architecture.
What should you bring along?
6. Currently enrolled as an ongoing student in a Master's program related to the aforementioned areas.
7. Strong programming skills in at least one language (e.g., Python, Java, Rust, or C++) and familiarity with Software Engineering best practices.
8. General understanding of data synchronization technologies, data modeling, and database concepts.
9. General knowledge of the data aspects of AI, including data semantics.
10. Familiarity with cloud technologies, distributed systems, and knowledge graphs is a plus.
11. Proficient English language communication skills.
12. A continuous learning mindset.
