We employ around 500 professionals who are active across Europe with offices in Sweden, Germany, The Netherlands, and the United Kingdom to drive the energy transition together. Our role in Vattenfall is to maximize the value of the overall portfolio by optimizing and dispatching, hedging, and sourcing for Vattenfall's sales and generation volumes. We serve as Vattenfall’s single access to energy commodity markets and trade electricity, emissions, fuels, freight, and renewable certificates.
Within Markets BU Customers is offering power purchase agreements to operators of wind or solar parks. We provide market access services to large customers and (regional) energy suppliers and connect demand-side flexibility of industry to stabilize the electricity grid. We furthermore source electricity for Vattenfall’s consumer- and business customers with a strong focus to increase renewable sources of electricity.

What will you do?
As a Renewables Data Manager, you will work within an international environment. Your primary responsibilities include utilising data from the existing portfolio to support business management, process improvement, and settlement activities. This position involves interaction with a wide range of stakeholders and provides opportunities to develop knowledge and expertise in renewable energy markets.
Responsibilities
Within Vattenfall as the Renewables Data Manager you have the following key responsibilities:
1. Set up and quality-assure sales systems, including CRM, Settlement, and Data Storage, with focus on renewable products like "Direktvermarktung" in Germany.
2. Manage data flows and utilize low-code tools throughout end-to-end processes.
3. Implement new processes and support process execution by contextualizing data with business logic to various stakeholders
4. Enable data reporting to enhance business performance and profitability ( using PowerBI)
5. Run and monitor regular processes like settlement
6. Contribute to project initiatives for process improvements.
Qualifications
Skills & Experience
We are looking for a candidate with the following knowledge and background:
7. Proper understanding of energy and the renewables PPA market
8. Experience working with data management in ETL pipelines.
9. Familiarity with code written in system-specific low-code languages and initial experience in low-code implementation.
10. Ability to translate process descriptions from text and images into automated workflows.
11. Solid attention to detail and affinity for analytic work including knowledge of PowerBI
12. University degree in relevant discipline
13. Team player with excellent communication skills and solution orientation
14. Fluent in English, written and verbal; solid knowledge in German to understand regulatory and customer communication is considered a plus.
