I am currently representing a specialist Electronics and RF consultancy business that has been operating since 1963. They are a small, highly collaborative team who distribute and advise on electronic components for industrial and research applications globally. Due to retirements, they are now looking to bring in a motivated RF Sales Engineer to support their continued growth.
In this role, you will be responsible for both developing new business and managing existing accounts, working closely with customers to understand technical challenges and provide tailored RF solutions. You will liaise with internal teams and manufacturers to design solutions, negotiate pricing, and manage projects through to completion.
The successful candidate will be a technically strong individual with RF or electronics knowledge, who is confident communicating with clients and has a proactive, "hunter" mindset. This role offers long-term progression, with the opportunity to move into leadership or even directorship.
You will be joining a close-knit team with a strong technical reputation, offering collaboration, autonomy, and the chance to work on global RF projects.
The Role:
1. Develop new business opportunities alongside managing existing accounts
2. Provide technical consultation on RF and electronic components
3. Work with internal teams to design and deliver solutions
4. Negotiate pricing, margins, and commercial agreements
5. Mix of office-based, field visits (~25%), and global client interaction
The Candidate:
6. Strong knowledge of RF / High-Frequency / Electronics
7. Experience in technical sales or customer-facing engineering role
8. Confident communicator with a proactive, sales-driven mindset
9. Fluent in German and English
10. Commutable to Office in Frankfurt
