Payroll Specialist - Achern, Germany | Spandex Deutschland GmbH
Spandex Group is looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to take full ownership of payroll operations for the DACH region (Switzerland, Austria and Germany). This is a hands-on, detail-driven role where accuracy, compliance, and reliability are essential.
If you have strong payroll expertise and enjoy working closely with Finance and HR, this role offers the opportunity to manage end-to-end payroll with real accountability and impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Run monthly payrolls for DACH in line with statutory, tax, and social security requirements
* Prepare and process severance, bonuses, terminations, and other special payments
* Act as the primary contact for authorities, external/outsourced payroll and third party providers
* Prepare and upload monthly payroll journals and upload via Promenta into SAP
* Perform payroll reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
* Manage onboarding and offboarding payroll documentation
* Maintain accurate and compliant employee files
* Execute salary payments and all third-party payments (tax, social security, pension, insurance)
* Provide monthly headcount data and quarterly salary reporting to Finance
* Ensure payroll calculations are accurate, compliant, and completed to deadlines.
What You Bring
* Proven experience running multi-country DACH payrolls is essential
* Strong knowledge of Swiss payroll legislation, taxation, and social security is an advantage
* Experience with SAP, Promenta, or similar payroll/finance systems
* High level of accuracy, confidentiality, attention to detail strong administrative skills
* Ability to work effectively across Finance and HR
* Fluency in German; good English communication skills
