The mission hast started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The CTO organization takes care of the battery cell development. Our responsibility includes research, predevelopment of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of battery cells.
Your role and key responsibilities
* Holistic modelling of battery cells in order to support cell development, with a focus on production processes with regard to cell design.
* Analyzing data from various sources (from electrical experiments to production data) and conception and implementation of physical and data-driven models.
* Development and maintenance of code projects.
* Developing, implementing and supporting strategic projects and partnerships.
* Interpretation & evaluation of data and presentation of results.
* Interdisciplinary cooperation with internal development teams and external partners.
What you bring to the team
* Several years of experience in the battery industry, particularly with battery cells. In-depth knowledge in the field of lithium-ion batteries, especially with regard to production, cell design and modeling.
* Successfully completed (under-)graduate degree in chemistry, materials science, physics, computer science, mathematics, engineering or a comparable qualification.
* Excellent communication and interdisciplinary organizational skills.
* Relevant experience in data analysis.Good programming skills (e.g. MATLAB, Python, C/C++, R or similar), and experience in programming of user interfaces (e.g. with flask), and experience in software development in team (using e.g. git, svn, or similar).
* Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel.
* Business fluent English language skills for our international team.
