Lead finance operations. We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Management Accountant to take ownership of operational finance for our manufacturing site in Ulm, while being based in our Wiesbaden hub.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a visible, high-impact role, leading a small but critical finance team and partnering closely with leadership to ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and continuous improvement across finance processes.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you’ll play a key role in owning financial integrity, leading close processes, and managing end-to-end accounting operations across multiple entities.
You’ll take responsibility for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Accounting, while also leading and developing a team of three finance professionals.
Lead daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial postings
Tax & Compliance
Ensure full compliance with German GAAP (HGB) and local statutory requirements
Support tax activities, including foreign VAT recovery
Payroll & Audit
Oversee payroll accounting in collaboration with external advisors
Lead audit preparation, including documentation and auditor coordination
Leadership & Team Management
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team of three
Ensure clear task allocation across AP, AR, and accounting
Qualified accountant
Strong expertise in German GAAP (HGB) and VAT
Proven track record in financial close and accounting operations
Demonstrated people management experience in a multi-site environment
Excellent organisation and time management
Ability to balance hands-on delivery with strategic oversight
Lead finance across multiple sites with real business influence
Broad exposure across accounting, tax, and operational finance
