SAP Solution Architect (CDS Views / SAP Analytics / Fiori) – Contract

We are seeking an experienced SAP Solution Architect to step into a key interim role supporting our client’s SAP Analytics and Fiori landscape during a maternity leave. Starting in September 2025, the consultant will join an organisation in the midst of driving forward its SAP capabilities — combining technical depth with business process alignment.
This is a strategic, hybrid role bridging business and IT – perfect for someone who thrives on translating complex reporting needs into scalable SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead SAP solution architecture topics across the analytics/reporting domain
* Translate business KPIs (e.g. open delivery quantity) into viable SAP technical solutions
* Design, validate, and optimise CDS Views in S/4HANA
* Ensure accurate data flow from SAP to reporting platforms in collaboration with BI teams
* Manage and improve SAP Fiori analytical apps
* Support internal developers and coordinate with offshore/nearshore resources
* Serve as a key link between business users and technical developers (including APIs/integration layers)
* Contribute to the UK & Ireland rollout and other initiatives, supporting from Germany
Essential Skills & Experience
* Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, especially:
* CDS Views (modelling & performance optimisation)
* SAP Analytics tools & frameworks
* SAP Fiori (focused on analytics/reporting use cases)
* Experience converting reporting requirements into SAP technical architecture
* Hands-on use of Excel plug-ins for data extraction from SAP
* Solid grasp of SAP data models and integration layers
* Excellent communicator – able to engage both technical and business stakeholders
* Prior experience as a Solution Architect or SAP Analytics Lead
Nice to Have
* Experience in the retail or fashion industry
* German language skills (helpful but not essential)
