Join Salomon as Area Sales Manager to increase sales in their territory, build strong partnerships with key retailers and deliver premium brand experience with your retailers.
A hands-on position that combines business thinking, trade knowledge and in-depth product knowledge in a performance-oriented environment.
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) drives sales and represents the brand to achieve significant sales targets for SALOMON (Footwear & Bags) and to achieve exceptional customer experience on his/her assigned accounts and Omni Channel touchpoints.
The ASM is building partnerships with key sports retailers by developing joint plans to benefit of consumers, from which both SALOMON and the retailer benefit. Achieving seasonal sales and distribution targets in the defined area with clearly defined customers
Identify sales and marketing opportunities in your territory and with your customers
Meeting the seasonal goals of the most important product categories in net sales and sell through from the retailer
Organization and implementation of training courses and test events for shop employees of specialist retail customers
Increasing and maximizing the visibility and image of the Salomon brand at retailers' shops and events through defined product assortments and seasonal key story packages
Ideally 2–3 years of experience in sales, with a strong background in running or the sports/outdoor sector
Ideally a passion for running and outdoor sports
Fluent written and spoken German and English
Solid knowledge of IT systems (Microsoft Office) and the ability to quickly learn new tools (e.g. Salesforce, Sales Portal, B2B systems)
