As a Merchandise Manager for Fjällräven Germany, you will be responsible for developing and executing the local merchandise strategy that ensures the Fjällräven brand is consistently and effectively represented across the German market. This role combines strategic planning, analytical thinking, and close collaboration with global and local teams to optimize assortment, stock flow, and profitability.
Define and manage the local base assortment for all Fjällräven Brand Corners within Globetrotter stores, aligning with global brand direction and market needs.
Analyze weekly sales, sell-through, and performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities, translating insights into actionable plans.
Coordinate closely with Global Demand Planning, Sales, and Account Planning to ensure alignment between pre-orders, replenishment, and market demand.
Support pricing and margin strategies through market, competitor, and profitability analyses.
Monitor and review in-season performance, stock levels, and in-store execution to uphold a premium and consistent Fjällräven brand presentation.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, or related field.
~3-5 years of experience in merchandise planning, buying, or assortment management—preferably within outdoor, sportswear, or premium retail.
Strong analytical and numerical skills with proficiency in Excel and planning tools.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Business fluent in English and German (written and spoken).
Hands-on mentality is a strong plus.
