5. Development of new near-patient-care measurement setups and prototypes for measurements of diagnostic markers in human samples
6. Development of measurement set-up modules and systems for optical and electrochemical measurement and assay processing
7. Concept development for the overall system and subsystems, taking into account requirements, costs, availability, production and time
8. CAD design with Solid Works
9. Material procurement, planning and monitoring of production
10. Assembly and commissioning of hardware and software
11. Characterization of measurement setups with regard to function, accuracy and reproducibility of the modules
12. Maintenance, testing and servicing of measurement setups
13. Independent planning, implementation, evaluation of results, documentation and presentation
Your profile
14. Degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering
15. Sound experience in R&D, ideally development and production of measurement setups, test benches and devices for measurement desirable in near patient care diagnostics
16. Experience in project management with multidisciplinary teams
17. Experience in the design, construction, development and production of complete systems and sub-assemblies
18. Preparation of test plans, technical evaluation of test systems, evaluation and documentation.
19. Advanced knowledge of CAD design and construction with Solid Works or CREO Parametric
20. Advanced knowledge of measurement technology, sensors, actuators, measurement and control technology
21. Knowledge of electronics hardware, PCB design and in manufacturing processes CNC / 3D printing / injection molding
22. Fluent German and English
