Role Overview
The Senior IT Architect is responsible for the design, development, integration, and testing of cross-service and complex IT solutions, in line with service design and transition requirements. The role includes providing IT architecture consulting for relevant business areas and customers, with a strong focus on compliance with IT security and data protection regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyze technical problems and requirements in the respective domain and develop strategies or solutions independently.
* Create solution concepts and present results to stakeholders.
* Work in a structured, service- and solution-oriented manner.
* Plan, extend, and describe SharePoint platform components.
* Plan, extend, and describe application platform components (e.g., PHA servers).
* Adapt and further develop SharePoint and application platform components.
* Provide expertise in digitalization projects for public-sector organizations.
* Perform and support service lifecycle processes (incident, change, release, problem management).
* Create and maintain service documentation.
Qualifications
Education:
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related IT field, or equivalent vocational IT qualification. Alternatively, at least 10 years of relevant IT experience.
Certifications
* IT Service Management (ITIL Foundation, e.g., v3).
Languages
* German (C1) and English (B1) according to CEFR.
Professional Experience
* At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft SharePoint On-Premise technologies (10,000+ users).
* At least 3 years of experience in SharePoint enterprise and multi-farm environments (10,000+ users).
* At least 5 years of experience in planning and deploying server infrastructures.
* At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft IIS server technologies.
* At least 1 year of experience working with Jira.
