YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
5. Disciplinary and technical management of employees in the area of IT systems
6. IT operations, administration and infrastructure support
7. Strategic planning, implementation and monitoring of IT systems and IT operating processes
IT operations and infrastructure
8. Ensuring smooth IT operations, including servers, networks, databases and end devices
9. Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting and optimisation
10. Management of IT assets and licences
Administration
11. Management of the IT administration team
12. Planning and implementation of system upgrades, patches and migrations
13. Ensuring data security and integrity
Project management
14. Management of IT projects, e.g. implementation of new systems or infrastructure upgrades
15. Coordination with other IM specialisms, departments and external service providers
Personnel management and development
16. Disciplinary responsibility for the IT team in administration and infrastructure
17. Promoting the further development of employees
Compliance and security
18. Compliance with data protection guidelines and standards
19. Implementation of security measures and guidelines
MUST-HAVES
20. Completed 4-year university degree in the field of information technology or business informatics
21. Additional qualification in IT project management (e.g. Scrum Master, Prince2, SAFe)
22. Several years of professional experience in IT operations, administration and infrastructure support
23. Experience in network technologies, server operating systems and IT security
24. Managing and negotiating in written and spoken English and German
25. In-depth IT expertise in the assigned IT system and development environments
26. You must meet the requirements for a valid background check (ZÜP) in accordance with §7 of the German Aviation Security Act (LuftSiG). If you do not have a valid German background check or security check, this will be applied for together during the application process.
