YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Disciplinary and technical management of employees in the area of IT systemsIT operations, administration and infrastructure supportStrategic planning, implementation and monitoring of IT systems and IT operating processesIT operations and infrastructure
Ensuring smooth IT operations, including servers, networks, databases and end devicesMonitoring system performance, troubleshooting and optimisationManagement of IT assets and licencesAdministration
Management of the IT administration teamPlanning and implementation of system upgrades, patches and migrationsEnsuring data security and integrityProject management
Management of IT projects, e.g. implementation of new systems or infrastructure upgradesCoordination with other IM specialisms, departments and external service providersPersonnel management and development
Disciplinary responsibility for the IT team in administration and infrastructurePromoting the further development of employeesCompliance and security
Compliance with data protection guidelines and standardsImplementation of security measures and guidelinesMUST-HAVES
Completed 4-year university degree in the field of information technology or business informaticsAdditional qualification in IT project management (e.g. Scrum Master, Prince2, SAFe)Several years of professional experience in IT operations, administration and infrastructure supportExperience in network technologies, server operating systems and IT securityManaging and negotiating in written and spoken English and GermanIn-depth IT expertise in the assigned IT system and development environmentsYou must meet the requirements for a valid background check (ZÜP) in accordance with §7 of the German Aviation Security Act (LuftSiG). If you do not have a valid German background check or security check, this will be applied for together during the application process.Nice-to-haves
