For our renowned client, a leading company in the aerospace industry, we are looking for a committed and experienced Fleet Manager (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible as part of a temporary employment contract. In this versatile position, you will be the central point of contact for the strategic and operational management of the entire fleet and ensure the smooth, safe and economical operation of the vehicle fleet. Your tasks
6. Holistic fleet management: Strategic development, management and administration of the vehicle fleet, consisting of cars, vans and industrial trucks.
7. Advice & support: Central point of contact and advisor for specialist departments, managers and employees in all vehicle-related matters - from procurement to use and return.
8. Service provider management: Management, monitoring and evaluation of external service providers, including the preparation and implementation of contracts.
9. Coordination & control: Monitoring of maintenance, inspection and repair intervals as well as the professional handling of damage claims.
10. Budget & Reporting: Active involvement in budget planning and monitoring as well as the preparation of meaningful reports, statistics and target/actual comparisons.
11. Compliance & Administration: Ensuring compliance with all legal regulations (e.g. UVV) and company regulations (car policy) as well as maintaining the fleet databases and processing administrative offenses.
12. Invoice verification: Professional verification and approval of invoices in connection with the vehicle fleet.
Your profile
13. Education: Successfully completed specialized commercial or technical vocational training (at least 3 years).
14. Professional experience: Several years of relevant professional experience in fleet management or a comparable position.
15. Knowledge: Good business and commercial knowledge is required.
16. Languages: Business fluent written and spoken German; advanced English skills are desirable.
17. Driving license: Valid class B driving license, safe driving experience and a keen interest in vehicle technology.
18. Personality: A structured, independent and responsible way of working, coupled with strong communication skills and organizational talent.
19. IT skills: Confident handling of common MS Office applications.
