Redstone Commodity Search is seeking a skilled Commodity Trader with 2-5 years of experience to join a leading trading firm in Germany, specializing in the physical trading of Light Ends, Heavy Ends, and Fuel Oil. The successful candidate will play a key role in executing physical trades, managing market risks, and ensuring the smooth operation of logistics for these products. Reporting to senior management, this role offers a great opportunity to contribute to the company’s success in the European market. Key Responsibilities / Tasks: Execute physical trades for Light Ends, Heavy Ends, and Fuel Oil in the German and broader European markets. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and key stakeholders in the energy and fuel oil markets. Monitor market trends and analyze pricing dynamics to identify trading opportunities. Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of products. Manage market exposure through hedging strategies and risk management tools. Ensure compliance with regulatory and sustainability standards in the energy trading sector. Key Qualifications / Experience: 2-5 years of experience in physical trading of Light Ends, Heavy Ends, and/or Fuel Oil. Solid understanding of market fundamentals, pricing, and logistics within the energy sector. Proven ability to manage trading risks through hedging and other risk management practices. Strong communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain business relationships. Role based in Germany with a focus on European markets.
