We are seeking a skilled Database Architect and Configuration Expert to design and implement scalable database architectures that meet our application's requirements and support business growth.
* You will create and maintain database models, schemas, and data flow diagrams to map our complex data structure and its relationships.
* Improve database performance through techniques such as indexing, partitioning, and query optimization.
* You will collaborate closely with different teams to capture requirements and implement feasible database solutions.
* In addition to that, you will also guide and train junior database architects and administrators.
What you need:
* Demonstrable experience as a database architect or similar role, including a strong portfolio of projects in database design and implementation.
* A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; a master's degree is desirable.
* In-depth knowledge of common database management systems such as SQL server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases. Profound experience with cloud database services such as AWS RDS or Azure SQL database is a plus.
* Excellent proficiency in English and fluent in German.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders, coupled with excellent problem-solving abilities to evolving technologies.
