Summary
We are looking for a Head of Logistics Management (f/m/d) at the Ulm site, available from the earliest possible date.
The department is responsible for the global logistics planning team, ensuring the successful implementation of logistics planning processes, including negotiations with logistics service providers for HENSOLDT.
Your Tasks
* Technical and disciplinary management of employees
* Development and implementation of logistics planning strategies to support business objectives, value stream processes, and ESG targets
* Support the S/4HANA transformation program, focusing on a greenfield approach under the leadership of CBTO (GPO)
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize logistics planning processes and ensure continuous improvement
* Develop and maintain KPIs to measure logistics planning performance and drive improvements with service providers
* Analyze logistics planning data to identify opportunities for improvement and savings
* Build and maintain relationships with logistics service providers, negotiating tenders and contracts
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to logistics planning and transportation
* Develop and manage budgets for global logistics planning
* Report regularly to senior management on logistics planning activities and performance
Your Profile
* Degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or similar
* Experience in leading and motivating employees
* Several years of management experience in global logistics planning and/or supply chain management
* Experience with SAP S/4HANA environment
* Knowledge of logistics planning software, tools, regulations, and standards
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills
* Strong communication, teamwork, presentation, and conflict resolution skills
* Structured, analytical, and flexible working style
* Proficiency in German and English
