This is a mobile position based in Northern Germany.
Lenovo is seeking a Field Technical Sales Support Engineer / Consultant for Think Client Products to provide end‑to‑end technical support across pre‑sales and post‑sales activities. This role serves as a trusted technical advisor to customers and Sales, supporting evaluations, tenders, and technical escalations.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre‑Sales
1. Provide technical consultancy for ThinkPad, ThinkCentre, and related client solutions
2. Support Sales during customer meetings, presentations, product evaluations, and transitions
3. Contribute technical expertise and benchmarks to tenders and RFPs
Post‑Sales
4. Act as the technical focal point for customer issues and escalations (excluding warranty topics)
5. Resolve technical issues independently and open Level‑2 (L2) cases when required
6. Coordinate with internal support teams and ensure clear communication to customers and Sales
Key Qualifications:
7. Experience in IT technical support or technical pre‑sales, including benchmarking
8. Strong knowledge of the PC portfolio (notebooks, desktops, client solutions)
9. In‑depth expertise in Windows operating systems; MDT/SCCM knowledge preferred
10. Strong analytical, communication, and customer‑facing skills
11. Fluent English and German (written and spoken)
12. Bachelor’s degree in an IT‑related field or equivalent professional experience
13. Willingness to travel within Germany is required.
