Independent development of applications in the field of data handling, integration of systems and databases (ELN, LIMS), control of devices, and user interfaces (custom automation)
Taking interface responsibility between our automation group and our Information Research (IR) group located in internal IT
Senior Scientist I: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and typically, 10 years of experience, master’s degree or equivalent education (Master's, Engineering) in the field of bioinformatics, IT, or a related field, or a technical education or scientific studies with corresponding programming knowledge and/or automation experience and typically 8 years of experience, PhD and no (some) experience necessary.
Senior Scientist II: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and typically, 12 years of experience, master’s degree or equivalent education (Master's, Engineering) in the field of bioinformatics, IT, or a related field, or a technical education or scientific studies with corresponding programming knowledge and/or automation experience and typically 10 years of experience, PhD and typically 4 years of experience.
Excellent programming skills and agile software development (C#, C++ and/or Python)
Experience in application development focusing on data transformation and AI
Experience in laboratory automation, LIMS, and ELN
Basic understanding of laboratory workflows and processes in pharmaceutical development
Good teamwork skills for working in international, interdisciplinary teams of scientists, engineers, and IT specialists
Willingness to adapt to changing environments and situations with multiple projects
Very good English skills, both spoken and written, to present and report results
