About the job
As Principal Product Application Engineer, you will be responsible for the Application Strategy and Application Knowledge management for our Diodes & Transistors portfolio. In addition to technical support for our leading customers from the automotive, industrial and consumer industries, you are our main interface to our Product Management and R&D teams in order to build up a future proof product portfolio.
What you will do
Qualify the value of Nexperia's products (strengths versus competitive products) and quantify the technical benefits derived from choosing NexperiaTake the lead for product requirements based on application insightsRepresent Nexperia’s application perspective in technical comities and Standardization groups as well as establishing and maintaining technical contacts to key decisions makers and influencers like Car OEMs and reference design houses and of course Industry Lead CustomersTranslate application expertise and customer insights into “customer requirement specifications” and build a future proof product portfolioConduct product investigations and circuit analysis on application levelSet up demo boards and represent the Nexperia Diodes & Transistors group at trade fairsWhat you will need
University degree in electrical engineering or other related technical disciplineMinimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the semiconductor industry or in a related businessIdeally proven experience within the Automotive/Industrial/Consumer Electronics environmentDevelopment and Engineering experience, as well as hardware design know howSimulation and measurement know-how are a plusEntrepreneurial thinking, result oriented, customer focusedStrong communication and negotiation skills in English. German language is a plusTeam player with hands-on mentality and proven track record in working in multicultural/international teamsWhy work for us?
