* For the Communication and Information Centre (kiz) Service Management and Organization Department we are looking for a
* Consultant to the kiz management & Business Relationship Management (BRM) (m/f/d)
* With around 140 employees, kiz is the second largest central institution at Ulm University and provides services for research, teaching, studies and administration in the areas of library, information technology and media.
* The Service Management & Organization department is responsible for service management, the organization of business processes and administrative tasks at kiz. It works closely with all other departments at kiz and with the Central University Administration.
* You can expect an exciting and varied position with independent tasks in a scientific environment.
* A temporary increase to 100% would be conceivable.

Your profile
* Completed university degree (university diploma, master's degree) in the field of economics, mathematics or computer science
* Several years of professional experience in public administration, universities or larger organizations
* Above-average ability to express yourself in writing
* Basic knowledge of strategic fundraising, ITSM tools and Confluence as well as empirical research and data analysis methods
* Detailed knowledge of data evaluation and data analysis as well as reporting, in the analysis and optimization of processes and methods for determining requirements and needs
* Detailed knowledge of structuring methods in project and process management, scientific writing and professional documentation
* In-depth technical, communicative and strategic presentation skills and in the design, implementation and statistical analysis of surveys
* Strong ability to grasp complex interdisciplinary requirements and incorporate them into the analysis in a targeted manner
* Very good knowledge of German and English
* Ability to work in a team, independent working style, analytical and conceptual thinking, high level of communication skills
Your tasks
* Carrying out and preparing overview research and researching second and third-party funding via funding measures
* Preparation of executive summaries, evaluations and overviews
* Support with thematic research and preparation of publications, presentations and lectures
* Supporting the kiz director in the follow-up of meetings and events and in the creation and development of plans and concepts for strategic development
* Internal university and kiz communication as well as support in communication with external institutions and working groups
* Designing, conducting and evaluating specific surveys with online questionnaires or personal expert interviews
* Systematic requirements analysis of existing and missing services
* Creating reports for service management and the management of kiz
* Participation in the selection and prioritization of projects to optimize services and processes
