Senior IT Business Analyst International Insurance Programmes

Your Tasks

• Analyze business requirements and processes in the field of international insurance programmes of a globally operating industrial insurer to support our international digitalization strategy
• Actively identify, structure, and validate business problems and opportunities before solution design.
• Design and maintain solutions for the development and enhancement of a modern and future oriented software and system landscape
• Define and manage requirements for system integrations across policy systems, claims platforms, and partner systems, ensuring seamless data exchange and interoperability
• Co-own backlog refinement, prioritization, and value delivery together with the Product Owner.
• Conduct market and competitive analyses to identify trends and best practices
• Ensure value orientation, usability, functionality and quality of requirements throughout the entire lifecycle
• Define acceptance criteria and ensure the quality of requirements
• Outcome-oriented work with a focus on measurable business value

Your Profile

• Completed studies in economics, business informatics, business administration, insurance management, or a comparable field.
• Extensive professional experience as a Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer, Systems Analyst or Consultant,
• Experience and knowledge in the value chain of insurance or a related field (sales, underwriting, policy management, claims handling, international insurance programmes)
• Experience or strong interest in leveraging digital and AI-driven solutions in business analysis and process optimization.
• Strong understanding of system landscapes, APIs, and integrations in complex enterprise environments.
• Quick comprehension, analytical thinking, and proven skills in problem decomposition and solving.
• Ability to think out of the box and keep an eye on dependencies and interfaces in an highly connected environment
• Strategic thinking and ability to drive business initiatives and contribute to the overall strategy
• Strong team orientation with the ability to actively collaborate across functions and disciplines, fostering open communication, stakeholder alignment, and shared ownership of outcomes in an international environment.
• Very good written and spoken English skills (at least C1 level)
