Key responsibilities: The Senior MarTech Consultant leads and supports the implementation of Braze and other marketing automation technologies for global clients. This includes translating business and marketing requirements into actionable solution designs, configuration plans, and customer lifecycle programs. The role serves as the strategic and technical bridge between marketing, data, engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Responsibilities include: Designing cross-channel customer journeys and lifecycle campaigns using Braze Canvas and other MarTech tools (Salesforce, Adobe, Hubspot) Leading MarTech solution design, including segmentation logic, data schema definition, event structures, and behavioral triggers. Advising clients on the effective use of Braze features such as Canvas, Currents, Catalogs, Connected Content, Liquid templating, and advanced segmentation. Acting as a subject matter expert in workshops, pitches, and client discussions related to Braze and broader marketing technology ecosystems. Contributing to the strategic development of MarTech capabilities, methodologies, and reusable frameworks. Collaborating with internal teams to resolve questions, escalations, and technical challenges. Coaching and mentoring junior team members on MarTech concepts, platforms, and consulting skills. Required experience and skills: 2 years of hands-on experience with Braze or comparable marketing automation platforms (Salesforce, Adobe, HubSpot). Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts including segmentation, personalization, journeys, and consent management. Working knowledge of HTML, SQL, and Liquid or similar templating approaches. Familiarity with data layers, CDPs, APIs Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, structured manner. Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced project environments. Fluent in German and English Why choose Merkle?
