System Operations Specialist
This role focuses on ensuring seamless data exchange and communication between spacecraft and ground segment elements. The ideal candidate will have expertise in system management, design, and development for Integrated Management Systems in human spaceflight ground segments.
* Design, develop, and manage systems for spacecraft operations.
* Develop ground segments for satellite and human spaceflight projects, including project management.
* Collaborate and coordinate with national and international partners.
* Completed scientific university degree in engineering or relevant field.
* Many years of professional experience in space technology, satellite data processing, communications engineering, or software development.
* In-depth knowledge of database technology and Linux systems.
* Familiarity with TCP/IP and web technologies.
* Experience in software development and network monitoring systems.
* Good knowledge of German (written and spoken) and English (written and spoken).
The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with the Ground Operations group to develop concepts for operational efficiency, conduct routine operations, and support critical phases for voice communication systems.
As a key member of our team, you will work on diverse projects covering missions from CubeSats and LEO satellites to GEO and deep space missions, as well as astronautical spaceflight and support for the LUNA analog facility.
