Your tasks
● Management of own projects in matrix function with focus on HPLC analytics
● Active laboratory work and presentation of results, in English if required
● Questioning of existing methods & processes, identification of optimization needs from a technical and economic point of view and independent implementation of these optimizations
● Support in the transfer of new methods from R&D to quality control and in the definition of target values
● Taking on a central role in the root cause analysis of defective products and methods in the context of production problems
● Working on the above-mentioned topics alone and/or in a local or international team
● Compliance with regulatory and official framework conditions
Your profile
Must Have:
● PhD in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, food chemistry or similar subject area
● Relevant professional experience in the HPLC environment with a focus on analytical issues (if the doctorate was in this field, this counts as professional experience)
● Experience in an analytical laboratory, preferably in development and/or quality control
● Very good knowledge in the field of HPLC analysis
● Fluent German and English language skills
Nice to Have:
● HPLC knowledge from small molecules to complex proteins and thus use of various separation systems
● Good knowledge in a regulated environment
● Experience with FDA, USDA guidelines and DIN/ISO standards
● Experience in method development and troubleshooting
● Knowledge of Empower 3
● Knowledge of project management
