Responsibilities:
1. Product Portfolio Management: Oversee commercialization, market growth, profitability tracking, and go-to-market plans for both existing and new products.
2. Customer Selling Stories: Develop and present compelling customer selling stories to drive top-line sales, product awareness, and trial for customer shelf sets.
3. Go-to-market plans: Propose go-to-market trade/shopper marketing elements, including retailer product assortment, pricing, and merchandising (both in-store and online).
4. Data-Driven Insights: Monitor product P&L and Gross Margin mix by category to ensure financial health. Utilize data analytics to understand consumer/shopper insights, competitive trends, and key portfolio benefits, to derive action plans and provide continuous feedback to Regional and Global Teams.
5. Team leadership: Lead and mentor a team of Marketing Managers, fostering collaboration, professional development, and high performance to deliver on strategic marketing goals.
Qualifications:
6. Degree in Business Administration or Marketing with 4–5 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the FMCG sector.
7. Proven ability to lead and deliver results through strong analytical thinking, data interpretation, and insight-driven decision-making.
8. Hands-on experience in portfolio management, market launches, and cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external agencies.
9. Proficient in using IRI/Nielsen and other market analytics tools, with a deep understanding of KPIs, P&L, and financial performance metrics.
10. Strong communication and presentation skills in both German and English, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to lead, think holistically, and work effectively across diverse teams.
