Scaling analytics to tens of thousands of end-users, who all have differing data needs and data questions, is a hard problem. Embeddable gives you the infrastructure and tools to rapidly build out your interactive in-product analytics in days, not months, and empowers your team to iterate on your analytics at the pace your customers need. Our 3 core user personas are: Front-end (React.js) developers using our SDK to build beautifully interactive analytical experiences. Data teams building (SQL-based) data models for powering their single-source-of-truth. End users (typically non-technical) who are interacting with the analytical experiences and building out their own custom dashboards in our customers’ platforms. …and it’s our goal to make sure all of them have delightful user experiences! You’re a hungry, humble, and smart Senior Backend Engineer with deep expertise in Java (preferably Kotlin!) who thrives on building robust, scalable systems and writing clean, maintainable code, and is interested in joining our team in the not too distant future! Take shared ownership of our backend architecture, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability. Build and maintain high-quality code base using Kotlin, Docker and microservice architecture. Contribute to a culture of excellence by reviewing code, mentoring peers, and sharing knowledge with the team. Work with DevOps team to improve monitoring, supportability and reliability of backend services Actively participate in team discussions, explaining your solutions clearly while remaining open to feedback and suggestions. ♂️ What you already have Hard skills: 8 years’ experience as a backend engineer Kotlin (or Java) and Spring Boot knowledge Standard Kotlin (Java) library & best practices Design patterns Performance optimisations PostgreSQL knowledge AI-savviness, curiosity and enthusiasm - proven optimisation of your workflows through AI User level experience with Docker and Kubernetes Experience working on a scalable high-available micro-service architecture platform Fluent level spoken and written English is a must!
