You explain a new functionality required to the product you have elaborated in meetings with various customers. In the cross-functional team you set tnd the day with the team meeting with the other Product Managers, where you exchange on the latest trends and give some advice on how to solve a technical issue you already faced with your products in service.How You’ll Make an Impact
4. Responsible for the complete lifecycle of specific gas insulated high voltage switchgears.
5. Listen to and understand market trends, customer, and partner feedback, evaluate product opportunities.
6. Monitor market and perform technical/commercial analyses of competitor products.
7. Create and maintain business plans to define the most rewarding product developments.
8. Define development activities for portfolio optimization, specify their requirements and supervise their realization
9. Create product strategy and define the product development roadmap
10. Assure smooth factory and market introduction of portfolio optimizations
11. Enable a high-performing culture focusing on learning and continuous improvement, with an engaged and motivated workforce
12. Monitor product performance and trigger ongoing improvements.
What You Bring
13. University degree in engineering ( electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar)
14. Several years of professional experience in product management, technical sales, project management or commissioning of switchgears
15. Knowledge of high voltage switchgears and their components
16. Expertise in market introduction of products in collaboration with global sales organizations
17. Basic skills in business administration, marketing, negotiation techniques and presentation techniques
18. International experience either outside of the home country or in a global organization is a plus
19. Demonstrating proactive, dynamic, and conclusive qualities, along with strong social skills as a standout colleague
20. Excellent communication skills in English, German language skills are an advantage
