We are looking for a new team member starting in March 2026! Become part of the open-access.network project, funded by the Federal Ministry for Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR), and help us shape the future of scholarly communication. The three central goals of the project are to provide information, build capacity, and strengthen networking within the existing Open Access community. \n
Your responsibilities: \n
\n
1. Active, independent collaboration in the open-access.network project funded by the BMFTR \n
2. Support of working groups and task groups within the Helmholtz Association on Open Science topics \n
3. Communicating Open Science topics within the Helmholtz Association and communicating coordinated positions externally \n
4. Preparing project results in reports, guidance documents, and publications \n
5. Public outreach and strengthening the external relations of the Open Science Office \n
6. Organisation, implementation, and documentation of events \n
7. Contribution to third-party funding proposals \n
Your profile: \n
\n
8. Successfully completed academic university degree (Master\u2019s or equivalent); ideally a PhD or experience working as a researcher \n
9. Solid knowledge of Open Science principles and the associated opportunities and challenges for research, publishing, and data management \n
10. Solid knowledge and practical experience with Open Access publishing, ideally including relevant legal fields such as secondary publication rights and rights retention strategies \n
11. Strong project management skills and the ability to set priorities strategically across diverse and changing tasks \n
12. Strong teamworking skills, including collaboration across digital networks \n
13. Excellent oral and written communication skills (in English and German) \n

Salary: The position is classified according to TV\u00f6D Bund (East) in pay group 13. Classification is based on the collective agreement and the respective personal qualifications.
Working hours: Full-time (39 hours per week); The position is generally suitable for part-time work.
