We are now offering a opportunity to join our Project Management Support team at EUMETSAT, contributing to high-profile space programs with global impact.
Our team holds a strategic position within EUMETSAT, providing support in project and program management across planning, scheduling, reporting, and KPI analysis.
Your Role
We are looking for a Project Planner-Scheduler with strong experience in engineering environments and a proven track record managing complex projects.
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Creating and maintaining complex project schedules in collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
* Providing scheduling support and planning guidance across a portfolio of international projects.
* Supporting operational planning activities through interaction with various departments.
* Monitoring and following up on project schedules to ensure visibility of progress and early identification of deviations.
* Preparing progress reports on multi-project dependencies, milestones, and potential delays.
What We’re Looking For
* University degree (preferably in an engineering discipline).
* 5+ years of proven experience in project planning/scheduling, monitoring, and control in complex or multi-project environments.
* Advanced expertise in MS Project (or equivalent planning/scheduling tools).
* Solid experience managing large project files (hundreds of tasks, dependencies, constraints, critical path, etc.).
* Proactive attitude with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Strong command of English in a multicultural setting.
* Experience with reporting, KPI analysis, and MS Office automation (macros).
Nice to have:
* Experience in aerospace, aeronautics, or similar engineering fields.
* Previous involvement in a Project Management Office (PMO).
* Recognized project management certification (PMP, Prince2, PM2).
* Knowledge of project/portfolio management tools and QA processes.
