Senior Legal Counsel
Location: Remote in Germany
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join their dynamic legal team. This role involves providing extensive legal support, primarily focusing on Intellectual Property (IP) law and Commercial law. The ideal candidate will offer strategic legal advice and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, supporting the company’s business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Protect and oversee the company's IP portfolio, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
* Draft and negotiate agreements related to IP, such as licensing, confidentiality, and technology transfer agreements.
* Provide advisory on IP strategy and enforcement, including handling litigation and dispute resolution.
* Conduct IP due diligence in mergers and acquisitions.
* Monitor and analyse changes in IP law and advise on their business impact.
* Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including sales, supply, distribution, and service agreements.
* Ensure that all commercial agreements comply with relevant laws and regulations.
* Advise on commercial strategies to support business growth and mitigate legal risks.
Requirements:
* At least 2 years experience in Intellectual Property Law within a professional setting.
* Excellent written and spoken English and German Language skills.
* Fully qualified lawyer with two state exams
