We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Managing Director (MD) to lead two recently acquired injection moulding subsidiaries located in Italy and Germany.
The MD will be responsible for driving profitability, expanding sales locally and across Europe, and ensuring seamless operational and cultural integration into the group.
This role requires a strategic leader ideally with experience in injection moulding, extrusion or blow moulding, sales and operations, strong cross-cultural management skills, and a proven track record of business transformation.
Strategic Leadership & Integration
* Lead the business growth of the two newly acquired legal entities into the group, aligning them with corporate values, processes, and performance standards.
* Develop and execute a strategic roadmap to achieve 8% operating profit on net revenue.
* Foster a unified culture across both subsidiaries while respecting local strengths and practices.
Operational Excellence
* Oversee manufacturing, supply chain, quality control.
* Ensure operational efficiency, cost control, and high product quality standards.
* Implement continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
Sales & Business Development
* Drive sales growth in Germany and Italy as a priority, followed by expansion across pan-European markets.
* Identify new market opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and strengthen customer relationships.
* Oversee sales functions across both sites, pricing, product positioning, and go-to-market strategies
Team Leadership & Collaboration
* Lead and develop local leadership teams in Italy and Germany.
* Collaborate closely with the Business Bolster EMEA team for Finance, HR, IT, and Marketing support.
* Promote a high-performance culture focused on accountability, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
* Proven experience in a highly challenging leadership role within the plastics transformation industry, with a strong focus on sales and operations.
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and quality systems.
* Fluent in English and either German or Italian (fluency in both is a PLUS).
* Demonstrated success in business model innovation.
* Experience working in multinational environments and managing cross-border teams.
* Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
