We are seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking Senior Manager, Global Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join our Global FP&A organization, based at our Headquarters in Hamburg, Germany. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President, FP&A, this highly visible role will lead the Global FP&A operational framework, ensuring excellence in financial planning, reporting, and performance management across the Evotec Group. will play a key role in driving global reporting consistency, enhancing analytical capabilities, and optimizing FP&A processes and tools to enable strategic decision-making at the executive level. This position will lead FP&A operations and governance globally (without direct personnel responsibility), coordinating closely with regional and business area finance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead global FP&A operations, ensuring high-quality, timely, and accurate management reporting across the Group.
2. Drive continuous optimization of the Group’s financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes to enhance efficiency, transparency, and strategic insight.
3. Coordinate and consolidate annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and multi-year strategic plans across business areas and entities to deliver a unified global P&L view.
4. Develop, refine, and maintain advanced financial and scenario models to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
5. Oversee the global internal reporting framework, ensuring alignment with business needs, executive requirements, and investor-grade standards.
6. Partner cross-functionally with Business Controlling, Business Area Finance, and Accounting to ensure consistent data integrity, alignment, and financial insight.
7. Provide strategic analyses and insights to the Executive Committee and senior management to support decision-making on business performance, investments, and resource allocation.
8. Champion continuous improvement, standardization, and digitalization within the FP&A function, including reporting automation and data visualization enhancements.
Qualifications:
9. University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
10. Extensive professional experience in FP&A, preferably within a global organization or public company in the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry.
11. Proven track record of leading FP&A processes and projects with global scope, ideally with exposure to complex multi-entity environments.
12. Strong expertise in financial modeling, planning systems, and performance reporting (OneStream, IBM Planning Analytics, and PowerBI experience highly advantageous).
13. Experience with PCAOB audits, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, or similar regulatory frameworks is a plus.
14. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior executives and non-financial stakeholders effectively.
15. Fluent in English (both written and spoken); German proficiency is an advantage.
