We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement of USAREUR-AF and their Mission Partners mission objectives.
CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Software Developer (Linux), Journeyman.This position is in support of EMITS 2 of USAREUR-AF and their Mission Partner G33 MCSD,located inWiesbaden, Germany. This position is required to travel OCONUS.This position is located OCONUS.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Writes, debugs, and tests code in different program languages (e.g., Java, Python)
2. Performs code developments, modifications, and customization on legacy and future applications
3. Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge developing code for Linux operating systems, including Linux-specific tools, workflows, and system behaviors
4. Possesses and applies knowledge of Linux toolchains, package management, file permissions, and filesystem hierarchy
5. Possesses and applies knowledge working within Agile software development environments and developing code IAW user stories and requirements documents
6. Possesses and applies knowledge using DevSecOps tools (e.g., Jira, Cameo, Git)
7. Ensures developed source code complies with DoD guidelines, DISA STIGs, IEEE 12207, and applicable system ATOs
8. Supports software application testing, validation, and troubleshooting
9. Creates, updates, and maintains O&M documentation
10. Supports O&M activities, including configuring and maintaining connectors, libraries, tasks for source data feeds, and exports to the CM database
11. Designs, develops, and implements unit and scenario testing for the existing code base and for new functionality under development
12. Develops complex software to satisfy design objectives
13. Develops high-level system design diagrams for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation
14. Performs applications or systems programming on large-scale database management systems
15. Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments
16. Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
Qualifications:
17. Possess a Secret clearance with the ability to retain.
18. Experience 4-7 years with a BA/BS in related field preferred or equivalent experience considered.
19. Certification – 8140 – CND
20. Displays comprehensive knowledge of legacy and modern application development, with specific expertise in Linux-based systems, tools, workflows, and system behaviors.
21. Demonstrates mastery in multiple programming languages, particularly Java and Python, with proven ability to write, debug, and test complex code.
22. Exhibits in-depth understanding of Linux toolchains, package management, file permissions, and filesystem hierarchy.
23. Excels in Agile development environments, translating user stories into high-quality code while ensuring strict compliance guidelines and standards, preferably in a DoD environment.
24. Shows proficiency with DevSecOps tools such as Jira, Cameo, and Git.
25. Displays advanced skills in software testing, including design and implementation of unit and scenario tests for existing and new functionalities.
26. Creates high-level system design diagrams and maintains detailed documentation with expertise.
27. Demonstrates proficiency in large-scale database management systems and complex operational management activities.
28. Operates independently, developing methodologies and presenting solutions for complex technical challenges.
29. Demonstrates proficient expertise in managing and maintaining configuration of software, hardware, and systems, including configuration baselines.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$82,700 - 173,900 USD
