As a Functional Analyst, you will play a key role within the Settlement IT Team. Your main responsibilities will include translating business requirements into detailed specifications for developers, testing the resulting deliveries, and supporting their implementation. You will also contribute to various IT projects and programs across the organization.
Identify and describe impacts on other projects, business processes, and systems.
Act as an interface between business teams and IT development.
Define deliverables, establish planning, and follow up on progress in line with the project plan.
Actively support the resolution of functional issues during the Specification Phase.
Provide detailed reporting on test progress, including documentation of software defects.
Collaborate with business and IT teams to facilitate the resolution of issues and defects during System Testing and BAT.
Support production issue resolution and provide guidance on system behaviour to address customer queries.
Prepare and support internal user and customer training.
Follow prescribed methodologies throughout all stages of the project lifecycle.
2-3 years of experience in a financial‑institution back office or as a functional/business analyst within the securities and cash industry.
Solid PC literacy, including experience with collaboration tools such as Jira and GitHub; strong knowledge of SQL, databases, and use‑case modelling.
Proven ability to meet demanding project deadlines and deliver in a fast‑moving, change‑oriented environment.
Proficiency in written and spoken English; French or German language skills are considered an asset.
