What will you do?
In the Item Placement team, we work at the heart of data management, ensuring that product data is correctly and structurally represented in our systems according to customer requirements. Our team forms the basis for high data quality and reliable data transformations.
As a Junior Data Analyst (m/f/d), you will support our team in maintaining, structuring, and improving the quality of product master data in the FMCG sector. You will ensure that all product attributes are accurate, consistent, and available according to customer-specific requirements. Your work will guarantee that our data can be reliably used in processes, hierarchies, and systems.
Areas of responsibility
* Creation and optimization of rule-based product attributes based on existing master data
* Regular integration of new items into existing product attributes, including incorporating customer feedback.
* Integration of product attributes into database structures and hierarchies
* Detection, correction and prevention of data errors, including root cause analysis.
* Monitoring of relevant KPIs to ensure data quality and process stability in accordance with international standards
* Close collaboration with internal departments to ensure the smooth provision and use of data across all process steps.
Requirements
* Completed university or university of applied sciences degree, ideally in the fields of market research, business informatics or business administration; alternatively, completed vocational training in the field of data management, trade, administration or a comparable field.
* Prior professional experience in the FMCG sector or in master data/product information management is an advantage.
* Strong analytical skills, structured work style and a high affinity for data and processes
* Quick comprehension and willingness to learn complex data structures and rules
* Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and general IT affinity; experience with MDM systems is a plus.
* Strong communication skills in German and English, as well as enjoyment of working in cross-functional teams.
