Research Scientist in Microbiome and Cancer Mechanisms
We are seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist to join our team at the University of Luxembourg. As a key member of our research group, you will be responsible for investigating the effects of virulence factors using various in vitro and in vivo assays.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will contribute to the development of new methods and assays to study these functions, as well as participate in and contribute to microbiome- and cancer-related projects. Your tasks will include ensuring scientific quality management, complying with quality assurance standards, actively participating in meetings, collecting, managing, and analyzing data, presenting results within consortium meetings, and preparing findings for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* PhD in Biological Sciences or a related discipline, preferably prior professional experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher.
* Proficiency in cell culture techniques, experience working with purified proteins, competence in molecular biology techniques such as real-time PCR, FACS analysis, and Western blotting.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
