We are seeking a highly motivated and eager-to-learn Information Security Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in supporting critical Operational Technology (OT) and Product Security initiatives, including vulnerability management, security monitoring, and incident response. As an intern, you will work closely with experienced security professionals to assist in driving the security posture of our OT infrastructure and products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in managing vulnerability report lifecycles from internal and external sources, prioritizing disclosures for timely remediation, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks
2. Support NIDS deployment, configuration, and monitoring in OT environments, analyze alerts for potential incidents, and fine-tune signatures to reduce false positives and enhance detection accuracy
3. Collaborate with Security Incident Managers to review and enhance detection rules, and develop automation to streamline security operations
4. Assist with incident response activities, including reporting, documentation, and preliminary analysis of security events
5. Contribute to incident reports, evidence collection, post-incident reviews, and the development of incident playbooks and response procedures
6. Contribute to the threat intelligence program, including policies, procedures and technical improvements of the Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP)
7. Help create security awareness materials, reports, and stakeholder documentation to communicate key security findings and initiatives
Your Profile / Qualifications
8. Pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
9. Knowledge of OT environments and challenges (e.g., industrial control systems, SCADA, etc.) is a plus
10. Familiarity with Network Intrusion Detection Systems (NIDS) and/or Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools
11. Basic understanding of incident response processes, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and security monitoring practices
12. Eagerness to absorb new knowledge and embrace fresh areas of responsibility
13. Demonstrated diligence and commitment to quality work
14. Proficient communication skills in English; proficiency in the local language is a bonus
15. Strong personal drive and analytical capabilities
