You will help support security incidents across consumer electronics such as mobile phones and wearable devices while growing your expertise in both technical response and compliance-aware coordination. Your mission Support the lifecycle of security incidents and emergency response activities, including technical analysis, rapid assessment of potential compliance and reporting implications, coordination, documentation, and follow-up. Take ownership of lower-priority incidents and support targeted investigations. Review new technical and regulatory trends and developments to identify emerging Security Incident and Emergency Response needs. Continuously map, monitor, and embed applicable European legal, regulatory, and standards-related requirements into incident response workflows in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Work with systems and procedures used to identify potential security incidents, such as SIEM tools, alerts, and threat intelligence. Create, maintain, and improve tooling, scripts, workflows, and documentation that support efficient and effective incident response and compliance tracking, while exploring the responsible use of automation and AI to enhance operational efficiency. Support the maintenance and expansion of a collaborative ecosystem with external entities to build long-term, stable security partnerships. Help keep technical, compliance, and communication-related considerations aligned throughout incident handling. Your areas of expertise You bring: A Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related technical field; a Master’s degree is welcome but not required. First practical experience in security incident response, security operations, cyber defense, product security, or a related area. A solid understanding of security incident and emergency response processes, including assessing, prioritizing, investigating, and supporting mitigation activities. Experience working with SIEM tools, alerting systems, threat intelligence, or related detection and investigation workflows, including supporting incident handling in collaboration with other teams. Initial exposure to European / EU regulatory topics relevant to security incidents, such as GDPR, the Cyber Resilience Act, or related reporting obligations, combined with a strong interest in developing deeper expertise in this area. Ability to rapidly connect technical incident details with relevant compliance and reporting considerations and translate them into practical next steps. A strong documentation and process mindset, with the ability to contribute to playbooks, workflows, and post-incident reviews. The ability to work in a structured way under pressure and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Compliance, Communications, and external security stakeholders. Professional proficiency in written and spoken English, and you are based in the EU. Ideally, you also bring: Around 3 years of relevant professional experience. Knowledge of mobile security concepts and awareness of current and emerging security technology trends. Exposure to consumer electronics, mobile devices, wearables, IoT, or connected products. Experience with tooling, scripting, workflow automation, or AI-assisted approaches in incident response or compliance-related work.
