Job Title Clinical Innovations Lead Job Description As a Clinical Science Lead for Ultrasound Cardiovascular, you will lead a team of clinical scientists working at the intersection of imaging, clinical practice, and data science. You will shape the cardiovascular clinical technology roadmap, manage partnerships, and ensure that clinically impactful solutions are delivered across the full product lifecycle—from Advanced Development to launch and maintenance. Your Role: Directly influence the clinical relevance, quality, and customer value of our cardiovascular ultrasound solutions. Lead, coach, and develop a team of clinical scientists while ensuring organizational readiness for new technologies. Manage clinical science projects and align clinical strategies with business needs across the full product lifecycle. Collaborate closely with R&D, Clinical Affairs, business units, and global clinical partners to translate customer and KOL insights into advanced clinical solutions. Define and support clinical study strategies in partnership with business units and Clinical Affairs. Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders to drive innovation and strengthen our value propositions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the Clinical Science function. Grow in a key strategic role within Ultrasound R&D, shaping innovation, developing talent, and contributing to clinically impactful evidence and solutions. You’re the Right Fit If You Have 8 years of experience in medical device product development, including 5 years in ultrasound, and experience leading technical or clinical teams. Deep expertise in cardiology clinical workflows, diagnostic imaging, and patient pathway management. Strong experience collaborating with clinical partners and translating clinical needs into business value. Knowledge of data privacy laws, data de-identification, and regulated environments (FDA QSR, ISO 13485). A Master’s degree in engineering, biomedical sciences, or a related field (Bachelor’s with significant experience considered). Strong communication skills and the ability to influence and collaborate in a complex matrix environment. Fluency in German and English. How we work together This role is office-based, with an expectation of being onsite at least three days per week. Our Ultrasound R&D team in Unterschleißheim, working within a high-performing global Clinical Science organization. You will collaborate with top engineers and clinicians to bring innovative solutions into clinical practice and improve patient care worldwide.
