AML Field Compliance Officer - Based in Hamburg Region

In this field-based role, you’ll support agents across the region by conducting on-site inspections, delivering training, and helping implement effective AML programs. Role Responsibilities
1. Conduct on-site inspections to assess AML practices and support agents in implementing effective compliance procedures.
2. Deliver tailored AML training and provide practical resources to strengthen agents’ compliance capabilities.
3. Analyze transaction data, identify suspicious activity, and escalate findings to law enforcement when necessary.
4. Collaborate closely with your regional AML team to enhance compliance strategies and initiatives.
5. Build strong, trust-based relationships with agents, helping them understand how robust compliance practices directly protect our customers and the communities we serve.
Role Requirements
6. Experience in AML, investigations, or risk roles in financial services is ideal—but career changers from legal, commercial, or administrative backgrounds are welcome too.
7. Analytical mindset and strong communication skills are a must.
8. Valid driver’s license required – regular travel to agent locations, with a company car provided.
9. Confident communicator – you’ll deliver AML training to varied audiences.
10. People-first attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
11. Tech-savvy – comfortable with Microsoft Office.
12. Languages: Native-level or C1 German and good English required; other languages are a plus.
13. Work setup: Around 70% travel; admin tasks done from home.
