In dieser Position übernimmst Du die technische und disziplinarische Führung des RAN‑Engineering‑Teams und trägst maßgeblich zur Qualität sowie Innovation im RAN‑Bereich bei.
Responsibilities
* Leading and developing the RAN Engineering team, including resource and capacity management
* Responsibility for the optimization and further development of the 1&1 O‑RAN mobile access network (4G/5G)
* Selection and technical management of hardware and software suppliers
* Prioritization and management of projects for the introduction of new technologies and features
* Close, continuous, and trust-based collaboration with internal departments as well as external partners and vendors
* Cooperation with regulatory authorities and ensuring compliance with legal requirements (e.g., BNetzA, EMF guidelines)
* Ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and timeline targets
* Promoting innovation and continuous improvement within the team
* Preparing decision‑making documents for senior management
Qualifications
* Several years of experience in RAN engineering
* Deep understanding of modern mobile network architectures
* Proven experience in leading diverse, international teams and fostering a respectful team culture
* Passion for innovative mobile technologies and commitment to advancing our O‑RAN network
* A pragmatic and solution‑oriented working style
* Ability to communicate technical topics effectively and convincingly to management, partners, and regulatory bodies
* Business‑fluent English skills; German language skills are a plus
