About the Role
We are looking for an HR Generalist to join one of our global clients, a leading organization operating in a dynamic, international environment. This role sits within a shared services structure and focuses on delivering high-quality HR support to employees across the EMEA region. You will act as a first point of contact for HR-related queries, ensuring smooth HR operations while collaborating closely with various internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for employees across the EMEA region, handling a wide range of HR-related queries
* Provide guidance and support on core HR processes, including time off, leave management, benefits, and compensation
* Collaborate closely with Centers of Excellence (CoEs), Payroll, Data Operations, HR Business Partners, and Legal teams
* Ensure compliance with local regulations, with a strong focus on German employment law
* Prepare and manage HR documentation such as employment verifications, reference letters, mutual agreements, and unpaid leave requests
* Support and deliver onboarding sessions for new employees
* Guide employees in using HR self-service tools and systems (e.g. Workday)
* Manage and resolve employee cases through case management systems (e.g. Trax)
* Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes within a shared services environment
Requirements
* Previous experience in an HR Generalist or HR Operations role, ideally within an international or shared services environment
* Solid understanding of German employment law
* Experience supporting a large, diverse employee population
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Familiarity with HR systems such as Workday or similar platforms
* Fluent in German and English
