YOUR TASKS
1. You design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes on GCP
2. You optimize data processing efficiency and performance using modern tools and techniques
3. You collaborate with data engineers from other crews to understand technical requirements and share best practices
4. You ensure adherence to data quality standards
5. You implement data governance policies and procedures to protect sensitive data
6. You drive and support the migration of existing on-prem data products to the cloud (GCP)
7. You ensure a seamless transition and optimize cloud-based infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency
TECH STACK
8. Python, Oracle PL/SQL, Airflow and Git
9. Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Java, and Kafka
10. Google Cloud Services (BigQuery, Cloud Build, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer,DataFlow)
11. Nice to have: Datadog and Jenkins
YOUR PROFILE
12. You have several years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
13. You have strong technical skills in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (GCP preferred)
14. Great analytical skills, a structured way of working and a proactive approach to solving complex problems characterize you
15. You can work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
16. You are passionate about data-driven innovation and committed to delivering high-quality results
