This Plant Finance Lead position requires strong professional expertise and leadership skills. You will work closely with the plant management and the entire leadership team. Additionally, you will serve as an interface to the finance leads of other production sites in Germany, Europe, and globally. You act as a business partner to the executive management and contribute on both operational and strategic levels. In doing so, you are an empathetic coach and motivator for a team of six employees.
Your responsibilites:
* Systematic monitoring of the company's performance throughout the year in terms of earnings and costs (including initiating corrective actions in case of deviations)
* Leading a team of six employees in the areas of Accounting and Controlling
* Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS (US-GAAP) for a total of six business units
* Responsibility for internal and external reporting
* Preparing intra-year forecasts, annual budgets, and mid-term planning
* Creating budget/actual/forecast comparisons as well as ad-hoc analyses
* Conducting investment and profitability calculations and reviewing procurement requests
* Developing and implementing proactive improvement measures in the areas of earnings and cash flow
* Planning investments and operating costs, as well as monitoring cost centers
* Supporting the continuous development of controlling tools and management information systems
* Ensuring systematic monitoring of part manufacturing costs and part profitability
* You act as a point of contact for internal and external auditors, such as financial and tax auditors.
Your Profile:
* Completed degree in business administration with a focus on Controlling, Accounting, or Finance, or a comparable qualification such as certified accountant or similar
* Solid expertise in production controlling, ideally within the automotive industry
* Strong knowledge of HGB and US-GAAP, ideally also familiar with SOX processes
* Experience working with ERP systems, ideally SAP FI/CO
* Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
* Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken

* Assertiveness, resilience, ability to handle conflicts, and negotiation skills
* Ability to motivate, cooperate, and communicate effectively
