Embedded Software Developer – Automotive (AUTOSAR, V-Model, ASPICE) On-site in the NETHERLANDS near the German border (Netherlands), 1 day/week Long-term, full-time employee project German residents welcome – easy cross-border commute About the Role We are currently seeking a skilled Embedded Software Developer with a strong automotive background to join a long-term project with a leading technology company located close to the German border in the Netherlands. The role offers an excellent work-life balance with on-site presence required just one day per week —perfect for those residing in Germany and commuting across the border. You will be part of a dedicated software department, collaborating with architects and multidisciplinary teams to implement high-quality embedded solutions for next-generation automotive display modules and systems. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with system architects and engineers to design, develop, and implement embedded software solutions. Translate software requirements into detailed designs and embedded C implementations. Create and execute unit and integration tests to validate software functions. Understand and interface with underlying hardware for display systems. Ensure all development is done in accordance with V-model and ASPICE-compliant processes. Take ownership of software components, demonstrating initiative and technical leadership. Participate in technical discussions at both architectural and conceptual levels. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field. 7 years of professional experience in embedded software development using Embedded C. 5 years of hands-on experience with AUTOSAR OS. 3 years working in projects conforming to ASPICE (SWE.3/4/5) processes. Familiarity with electronic system designs and integration. Experience with tools such as Enterprise Architect. Strong capability in creating unit/interface tests. Nice to Have Experience with test tools such as Tessy, Unity, or equivalents. Familiarity with systems like Easy Redmine, Tortoise SVN, or Git. Additional Information This is a full-time, employee-based position (not freelance or contracting). On-site presence is required just one day per week —ideal for candidates living in Germany near the border.
