Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chef de Partie (w/d/m) located in Munich. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes while upholding Bavarian culinary traditions. Responsibilities also include supporting the culinary team, maintaining kitchen hygiene standards, managing kitchen inventory, and contributing to menus with innovative yet tradition-inspired dishes. Collaboration with suppliers and the kitchen team to ensure the highest quality of ingredients and dishes is essential.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in traditional and modern cooking techniques, with expertise in Bavarian cuisine.
* Solid experience in kitchen operations, food preparation, and food presentation.
* Knowledge of food safety, sanitary regulations, and kitchen hygiene standards.
* Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, including effective communication with colleagues and suppliers.
* Adaptability, creativity, and a passion for culinary innovation within traditional cuisine frameworks.
* Ability to handle high-pressure situations in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a culinary setting is highly desirable.
* Culinary certification or formal training in the food service industry is an advantage.
