Tasks: As Head of Commercial Management (m/f/d) within our marketing department, you will spearhead the creation and expansion of Lidl-Trek's commercial strategy and lead the existing commercial team.
Key responsibilities:
● Definition and implementation of the global commercial strategy for Lidl-Trek.
● Identification, evaluation, and development of new revenue streams, specifically focusing on innovation within professional cycling.
● Translation of strategic opportunities into viable business cases and pricing models, collaborating closely with the CMO and international stakeholders.
● Expansion of new and existing partnerships alongside the elevation of the hospitality and merchandising strategies to position Lidl-Trek as a premium lifestyle brand.
● Management, development, and strategic growth of the existing commercial team, including the establishment of the necessary infrastructure and processes.
Profile:
● Extensive leadership experience in business development within professional sports (e.g., football, motorsport, US sports) or entertainment, specifically in partnerships, fan monetization, community building and merchandising/licensing.
● Proven track record in scaling revenue, diversifying business models, as well as building and leading high-performance teams.
● Executive-level presentation and storytelling skills, paired with deep commercial and financial acumen.
● Business-fluent English; German language skills are a plus.
● Willingness to travel within Europe.
