As Head of Software Engineering, you will take on key tasks in the further development of our successful EnEffCo® software. What the role entails You will take on the technical and disciplinary management of our development team (approx. 10 people, internal & external) and continue to expand the department. Together with our product development department, you will be responsible for the roadmap for EnEffCo® and ensure that it is implemented on time and within budget. You will shape key architectural and technological decisions and ensure the long‑term scalability, quality, and security of our software. You will establish and optimize development, QA, and reporting processes (e.g., CI/CD, test strategy, code quality) and create transparency regarding progress and risks. You will work closely with management to strategically develop the software division (e.g., team building, make‑or‑buy decisions). You are familiar with our tech stack: React (TS), C#, MSSQL. What we are looking for You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable field. You have several years of experience in professional software development and have already been responsible for complex web or enterprise applications. You have already led an engineering team (at least 5 people). You have experience in setting up and further developing development organizations (e.g., scaling teams, introducing agile methods, integrating external service providers). You communicate confidently in written and spoken German and English and are comfortable interacting with developers, product managers, and senior management.
